Return of the Summertime Favorites

I love Summer. Have I ever mentioned that? I love that I wear skirts or dresses pretty much everyday and that my (long) bangs are braided all the time. I love that my exercise routine usually consists of swimming laps or pilates... but most of all I love that my "getting-ready-regiment" during the summer gets cut in half. Because you're allowed to look like you just stepped away from the pool (or beach-San Diego I miss you). Oh, Summer, welcome back. You were missed.

Also, this is proof that I am still alive. I am never in pictures with him. I'm always behind the camera. Blast. I'm in pajamas in this one but I don't care.

Diamondback Game

We managed to score some tickets from Stuart's dad for last night and I'd say we had some pretty good seats. It was nice to get away just the two of us and leave our little boy with my parents for the night. We were sad that they lost (and that it was freezing!!) but it really was so much fun! I'm thinking we'll have to do that several more times this summer.

Six Months Today!

I took these this morning right when he woke up and he was just so happy. Happy 1/2 birthday!

Your laugh is hilarious. You smile at everything. You are a rolling machine. Your favorite toy is your monkey. You do not like "green" baby food. You love Squash and Sweet Potatoes. You sleep 12 hours at night (we love you SO much for this!). Our lives are better because of you and we love you so much! Thanks for being such a good boy.

Another Update

Got to see these girls at Lacy's bridal shower.


We spent a whole week with colds (J had croup, so sad) so there was lots of napping on mom. Ironically we are sick again right now, seriously? Ready for winter to be over.


We are getting much more smiley around here! I really need to get his laugh on video. It's hilarious.



He really loves to take walks, and really likes to ride on his dad's shoulders.
